A Beginning In the Midst of a Crisis

I never know how to begin a new journal.  Especially right now.  My mind is constantly on Japan, what's already happened, and the disasters that haven't even happened yet.  I'm so frightened for those that have survived.  I'm frightened for the family that my boyfriend and I have over there.  They live not too far from Tokyo in a village called Shiki.

Ugh.  I'm sorry.  This is going to make for a VERY crappy first entry, but I just can't keep focused on this.  I'm going back to listening to the news.  More later.


P.S.  On a random sidenote:  My cat is going batshit crazy.  That is all.
